Hackintosh Installation Record

  1. Download OS X El Capitan from MacAppStore. The filename is "Install OS X El Capitan.app"
  2. Create a Bootable USB Drive with UniBeast
  3. Install OS X El Capitan(nv_disable=1)

  4. Post-Installation with Clover(Download El Capitan Post-Install Tools)

    1. Install Clover_v2.3k_r3270_UEFI.pkg
    2. Install CustoMac Essentials.pkg
    3. Download Clover Configuretor
    4. Open Clover Configurator to Mount EFI Partition
    5. Select SMBIOS tab and Press Magic Wand Icon to select a system definition from the list.(Mac Pro 3,1 is recommended)Save.
    6. Restart to test above steps.
    7. Download and install Alternate NVIDIA Drivers
    8. Restart and add the flag "nvda_drv=1" to the Clover Options.

  5. Install the Audio driver.

    • Method1. Download CloverALC110 script and run the script in Terminal.
    • Method2. Download the MultiBeast to install the ALC1150 directly.
